There are many studies about music’s benefit in education, especially for students at an early age.  Jorel “JFly” Flynn, the CEO/Founder of the How Big Is Your Dream Foundation, seized the opportunity to make an impact in the community in the areas of music and performing arts initiatives. 

For the eighth year, we have provided a positive environment of learning, instructed by professional, world renowned artists and outstanding regional music educators. The “How BIG Is Your Dream?! Summer Academy of the Arts offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to encourage aspiring musicians to have a career in the field of music, with instruction on various instruments, training in voice, dance, lyric writing, music technology, branding, and lifestyle management. 

The How Big Is Your Dream Academy student-artists not only express creativity through music, but have developed traits in leadership and teamwork.  We understand the importance of music education and the impact that it has on the self-improvement.  Not only does music help to improve math and reading skills, which are the academic concepts provided during the HBIYD?! Summer Academy of the Arts, but music is important for the development of   creative expression, fine motor skills, and social development.  The HBIYD?!
